Apple sure is powerful.

And they ignore all the stuff on the web that people (like us) have told you that matters. Apple has hardly participated on Facebook and Twitter. And people have been wrong enough about Apple enough, that I’m not going to even predict that it’s at their own peril. Well, if Apple gets to break the conventional wisdom, so can you, right? No. You aren’t Apple and I’m no Steve Jobs. You have to play by the rules of the game because you aren’t three steps ahead. You already know that you’re two behind. So don’t use Apple (or any other company) as an excuse for inaction. Just because they’re an exception doesn’t make it a rule. What have you been ignoring because someone else has?
